God Tier crowns
Spend Moonstones in the Curiosity Shop on a black or gold crown. It takes the place of the golden God Tier stars on your 6-star reads, in the app and on every share graphic.
New styles in the Design Library

A calmer, smoother app
Pop-ups, sheets, menus and the book side panel now glide in, settle gently and close the same way. Add book and the other create screens share one look, with a step bar, a clear close button and drafts kept for a day.
Import your BookFunnel library
On a computer, copy your BookFunnel library page and paste it in. We match each book, keep any we cannot match private to you, and fill in missing details in the background. This is a Premium feature.
Add book menu with pictures
The + button on phones and Add book on a computer now open a shelf of picture tiles, so you can spot what you want at a glance.
Rating stamps and edition bookplates
Star and spice ratings on your books now look like library rubber stamps, and editions sit on cream bookplates. God Tier reads wear a crown above a foil ribbon.
Share my year
Turn your year of reading and your own top five books into a graphic to share, in any Design Library style.
Reading now shows what is left
Your current book now stands on the desk as a little 3D book, and the big number is what you have left. Switch between hours, pages or percent while you slide, and ARC Library remembers your choice.
The Daily Draw spread and the Aspirations shelf
ARChie’s Daily Draw now lays your cards out as a spread. Aspirations lines up the books you finished this year on a shelf, and on smaller screens it takes the place of Pace Reality Check.
A tidier Creator Hub
The PR list now follows your sort and filters, and your own tasks sort by due date. Completed tasks have their own side, Show more replaces page numbers, and a Calendar view shows what is due.
Improved
Shared links open faster
Book, review, profile and author pages you share now open much faster for people who are not signed in.
One shape for chips and buttons
Chips, tabs, badges and buttons across the app now share the same soft rounded-square shape.
Monthly Wrap-Up keeps your Hide choices
The Monthly Wrap-Up now leaves out DNFs and the ratings you chose to hide, and opens on the latest month with finished books. Its receipt text is larger and easier to read.
Dashboard cards use their space
Dashboard cards now fill the height they are given instead of leaving a blank band at the bottom.
Fixed
Days left stay right when the clocks change
Days left and Due soon no longer count a day too many, or drop a book, when the clocks change before a deadline.
Progress follows the version you pick
Switching from an audiobook to an ebook now switches Track progress from hours to pages straight away. The Add version form also stays on screen so you can always reach Add.
Short pasted dates work
Pasting a short date such as 02-20-24 into a date field on a computer is now understood.
Calendar covers and team promos
The Bookish Calendar on the dashboard shows book covers again, and recurring promo tasks for a team now show that team on your calendar.
New PR tasks are never lost
If a new PR task cannot be saved, its window now stays open with your details so you can try again.
Clearer shelf imports
NetGalley import now tells you when you pasted the Feedback page instead of your shelf. Imports also read author names written as Last, First correctly.
Clear message for a missing book
A link to a book that does not exist now says the book was not found, instead of blaming your connection.
Shared links open when signed out
Android
On Android, opening a shared book or profile link while signed out now shows that page instead of staying on the welcome screen.
Sign out only signs out this device
Signing out now only signs you out on the device you are using. To sign out everywhere at once, use Sign out of all devices in Settings, Account.
Writing a review keeps your ratings
Saving a review no longer clears the stars and spice you gave the book.
No more empty Library on opening
If the tab your Library opens on has no books, it now opens on All books instead. New accounts start on All books, and you can pick the tab under Library opens on in Settings.
Smaller fixes
The Aspirations card no longer shakes, and the Plan & Billing menu fits inside the theme.
