Version 3.3.4 brings 75 customer-facing changes to ARC Library. Role or platform labels appear only where a change is specific to that experience.
New
Optional details on your receipt
A new Details button adds series, narrator, reading dates, days to finish, and spice under every book. Your totals gain fastest read, formats, and average spice, and your top read gets a Staff Pick stamp. The setting follows you across devices.
Your loyalty card gets its own page
The wrap-up carousel now has a Loyalty Card page with a stamp for every month you finished a book this year and a tear off coupon for next month. Sign with your name to add a scannable code to your public profile. The receipt itself is shorter and prints larger on Post.
Quiet months get a NO SALE receipt
A month with no finished books can now be shared as a playful NO SALE receipt with a VOID stamp. It comes with the Loyalty Card page, so a quiet month still shares two images. The calm interface tone keeps the quiet note instead.
Choose which books stay off your wrap-up
Four Hide buttons now sit under the preview, one each for your 1, 2 and 3 star reads and one for DNF. Hidden books leave the receipt, The Stack and every total, while your loyalty card keeps counting. The choice follows you across devices.
DNF books ring up as returns
Books you marked DNF that month now ring up on the receipt as returns, with a DNF stamp instead of stars. They print in order but never count toward your subtotal or totals, and they stay off The Stack. The DNF button hides them.

Cabinet cards get a real mount
Your Reading Cabinet share cards now sit on a gilt edged studio mount with a printed frame and studio imprint. Pick a cream or plum mount in the Share studio.
Unread notifications stand out clearly
Unread rows now use a stronger themed highlight, coloured edge, brighter marker, bold title, and visible Unread label. Opened notifications settle back into the quieter list.
Profile Studio fits every screen
Profile settings now use a focused phone editor, a touch-first tablet workspace, and a balanced web studio with live preview on wide screens. Reader, Author, and PA changes still save automatically.
Author public pages are easier to control

Profile Studio now keeps the page address, publishing status, visibility choices, and sharing tools together. The editor and live preview stay fully inside the browser at every screen width.
Your profiles have a Personal Shelf
Profile now opens the identity for your current desk in a calm, responsive Personal Shelf. Edit Reader, Author, and PA details in Settings, find reusable answers in Applications, and let settled changes save automatically.
Finding the right book feels at home on every screen
Add Book keeps search and results close on phones, adds a side-by-side Edition Desk on tablets, and becomes a roomy catalogue workbench on desktop. Wide screens can compare nearby editions without losing the selected book.
Book searches check more shelves first
Add Book now understands a bare author name in the same field and still checks titles first. If catalogue providers are unavailable, it offers Try again instead of claiming no books exist. Web and desktop keep Amazon in the first pass.
The Threshold Key has turned

ARChie welcomes you after dark
New and untouched theme settings now open in ARChie Night on the website and inside the app. Any theme or Day appearance you already chose stays exactly as you left it.
A welcome email when your Author profile is verified

When a moderator verifies your Author profile, ARC Library now emails the address on your account with a direct link to Author HQ. Your in-app confirmation remains available too.
Issue reports bring the details support needs
Issue reports now include the app version, device context, and a short sanitized console history automatically. Feature requests remain free of technical diagnostics.
A clearer Monthly Wrap-Up receipt
The receipt and The Stack now print in a crisper typewriter face with darker ink. Ratings show as hand drawn gold stars, and a God Tier read gets its crown plus its own total. Long book titles wrap in full instead of being cut short.
Clearer free and Premium profile options
Free accounts set genres, tropes, formats, and posting sites. Free profiles show genres, formats, posting sites, social links, email, public reviews, and about me. Premium-only choices now sit together at the bottom with a clear lock.

Book changes stay recoverable until confirmed
Book changes are now kept in a private recovery journal before account sync begins. A persistent status warns you when confirmation fails, offers retry and recovery download, and never treats a missing account row as a deletion without evidence.
Bug Hunting Contest counts only community testers
The Testing Hub leaderboard and the quarterly winner pick now leave out internal QA accounts and Romi's own accounts. Only bugs reported by community testers count toward the giveaway.
Home screen widgets load again

All four ARC Library widgets now show their previews in the Android widget picker. The Monthly TBR widget also loads once you place it on your home screen. Widgets no longer show a "Can't load widget" message.
God Tier reviews keep their crown
Reviews rated God Tier now show the crown on phone cards, desktop cards, and the gallery card instead of five plain stars. The Monthly Wrap-Up stack shows five stars plus a crown, and God Tier reads count toward your yearly five-star total.
Your own covers show up everywhere
Covers you uploaded yourself now appear on the Monthly Wrap-Up stack, the Reviews list, and the Review Desk instead of a blank placeholder. These surfaces use the same cover your Library shows, including an audiobook cover when you set one.
An ASIN counts as a book identifier
Author
Catalogue Desk health and the Release Runway no longer flag a missing ISBN for eBook and audiobook editions that have an ASIN. Completeness now reaches a full score, and the reminder asks for an ISBN or ASIN.
Ownership changes show up straight away

Choosing a new ownership status in mobile Book Detail now updates the Acquisition row immediately. The saved selection no longer leaves the previous status on screen.
Library controls stay clear while you scroll

The mobile Library tabs, search, and quick filters now keep their themed background while book cards scroll underneath. Covers and titles no longer show through the sticky controls.
Refresh keeps your reading scale steady
Refreshing ARC Library now restores your confirmed text size before the signed-in page appears. The dashboard no longer jumps between scales while account access finishes loading.
Profile links explain what needs fixing
Save Links stays available even when an older saved address has an invalid format. Choosing it now points to the exact email or social URL that needs correction instead of silently doing nothing.
Accountability forms open from Book Detail
Saved accountability-form links now have a clear Open form action in Book Detail on web, desktop, Android, and iPhone. The link row remains available for editing the address.
Praise keepsakes lead somewhere clear
Opening a praise keepsake no longer presents a second action that appears to do nothing. The detail now offers Back to Praise, which closes the keepsake and returns to the Praise category.
Unread phone alerts are one tap away

When the phone More button carries an unread count, the More sheet now includes a matching Notifications bell and count. Tap it to open the complete Notification Center.
A calmer Fall Day that stays in frame
Fall is in the air now uses quiet light parchment for navigation instead of white or orange. The complete desktop canvas, from navigation through every dashboard card, now fits the visible browser width.
Kobo covers join your share cards
Kobo book covers now appear properly on Monthly Wrap-Up, Reading Agenda, and Statistics share cards. The Stack uses a tidy themed title instead of a broken image if a remote cover becomes unavailable.
Author access stays put through connection trouble

A temporary profile loading error no longer makes a verified Author look unclaimed. Author and PA access now recovers safely without asking you to claim again.
Profile Studio uses the whole large screen
On large monitors, Profile Studio now forms one full-height workspace for navigation, editing, and preview. Introduction fields use the full editing canvas, while preview cards remain intact at a readable width.
Account settings open without reloading
Opening Account settings from the Reader Profile safety section now keeps ARC Library running in place instead of refreshing the whole application.
Connected authors stay connected, without a false error

Connect an Author now recognises active and pending relationships before offering another request. If the connection changed in another tab, ARC Library refreshes it and explains what is already waiting.
Finished books leave old deadlines behind
A finished book with no review, promotion, or return task no longer stays overdue because its publication date has passed. Books with genuine work left still remain easy to find.
Progress wheels save where you stop

Scrolling reading progress now previews each passing number and saves only the value where the wheel settles. A brief 100% tick can no longer mark a partly read book as Finished.
PA experience errors explain themselves

PA profiles now explain that years of experience must be a whole number before saving. A value such as 4.5 no longer reaches the database and turns into a vague save error.
Reading pace tells one clear story
Today’s Focus and Reading Pace now share one deadline plan and compare it with your recent reading pace. The daily target follows your real sequence of deadlines instead of adding every book as if you read them all at once.
Brief connection trouble no longer locks you out
ARC Library now keeps a healthy saved session when a refresh or beta access check is temporarily unavailable. A successful password reset also returns you to sign-in even if clearing the recovery session is slow.
Kobo availability stays fresher across regions
Kobo catalogue updates now retry brief feed interruptions and continue checking the other regions before reporting a problem.

PA-prepared approvals report the right outcome

Approving a PA-prepared author no longer trips over a missing moderator check. Eligible connections activate cleanly, while plan or seat limits remain safely pending without a false console error.
New books settle onto your shelf sooner
Add Book now confirms a successful save after loading only the catalogue details that book needs. The browser also skips an unrelated notification request, keeping the path into your Library lighter.
Notifications have their own phone reading desk

Notifications now use the complete phone screen with an edge-to-edge, scrollable list. The app navigation steps aside while you read, so the final notifications and home indicator stay clear.
Dashboard book covers open the book again

Dashboard layout choices stay where you put them
Older saved card orders, hidden cards, sizes, and layout choices are repaired as your profile loads. Rearranging the Dashboard no longer snaps back because an earlier app version stored the choice in the wrong shape.
Your Library opens even with an older saved layout
ARC Library now repairs older workspace choices before opening your shelves. A malformed synced setting can no longer send the Library to an unavailable view or trap it on the reload screen.
Book searches stay smooth while the catalogue grows

Tracked Team Desks now use verified connections and safe familiar name formatting. If metadata is missing, connect an older team or link Library books manually without changing or deleting the book.
Phone notifications reconnect reliably

The web app always loads the current version

Picture import is faster and checks more sources
Picture import now starts reliably in web browsers, runs a quick on-device scan first, and checks ARC Library, Kobo, Amazon, Google Books, and ISBNdb. Difficult covers can use a deeper scan. Your picture stays on your device.
Global search opens reliably
An older saved search preference can no longer prevent ARC Library from opening. Your library and search remain available.

Theme scenery now rests while you type, and Library filter searches save after a short pause, keeping fields responsive.
Custom filters stay selected
Custom Collection filters now remain active after you choose them, even while saved settings or a Library deep link are synchronizing.
Settings stay put across devices
Hidden navigation choices and catalogue-badge preferences no longer overwrite each other when you use ARC Library on more than one device. Settings you change in quick succession, like the Monthly Wrap-Up Hide buttons, no longer flip back a moment later either.
Reading tastes card shows every group
The Reading tastes card in Profile Studio now lists genres, tropes, preferred formats, where you post reviews, favourite authors, and review style. Each group sits under its own label instead of only genres and tropes.
ARChie stays moonlit on the website

Picking another theme on the website and then choosing ARChie again brings back the dark moonlit look instead of a white page. Guests who prefer the day look keep it.
The website hero wears your theme

Picking a theme chip on the website now recolours the whole first screen, including the ARChie hero, the search box, and the buttons. ARChie the ghost stays, only the colours change.
Your ARC notes read properly in the review editor
The Notes tab beside your review now shows your note text with real line breaks. The stray brackets and code around each note are gone, and adding notes to a review inserts clean text.
The account menu opens fully in the review editor
Opening your profile menu while writing a review no longer hides the top of it behind the toolbar. Every option is visible and clickable.
Adding a team no longer freezes when you type
Searching for an author, publisher or PR company while adding a team now looks them up as you type instead of loading the whole catalogue first. Type three letters to see matches.
Choose which finished-book reminders stay
Finished work stops release, review and promotion reminders. You can keep a borrowed book’s return date after finishing or hide it from Due Soon, Overdue and reminders. Unfinished loans and work still owed remain.
Remove any link from your Reader Profile
Contact in Profile Studio now has a box for every site your profile can show, including Amazon, Fable, YouTube, Audible and your blog. Clear a box to take that link off your profile.
Finished books stay in your weekly pages
Pages read this week no longer disappear from your weekly goal when you finish the book. Your current and just-finished reading now add up together.
