Version 3.2.0 brings 24 customer-facing changes to ARC Library. Role or platform labels appear only where a change is specific to that experience.

New

Star Your Favorite Library Filters

The Library's filter row now shows All Books plus just the filters you've starred; tap "More" to see everything else with live counts and a ★ next to each one.

Instant Search: Press ⌘K

A new search bar in your header (or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K anywhere) jumps you straight to anything: your own books, any page or action, and the community Book & Author databases, all from one box. Arrow keys and Enter to fly through results, and your recent picks are one tap away.

Paste a Link or ISBN to Add a Book Instantly

Paste a link or ISBN to add a book instantly, Amazon, Goodreads or StoryGraph links and bare ISBNs turn into a prefilled add-book form. Drop one into the search (⌘K / Ctrl+K) and pick "Add this book", or paste it straight into the Add Book search box.

Series Tracker in Statistics

Statistics has a new "Series" tab that groups your books by series with a progress bar for each one ("read 2 of 5"), spotlights the next unread entry, and lets you add it to this month's TBR with one tap.

Reading Intentions: Gentle Goals That Look After You

Set goals that care about your wellbeing, not just your numbers: cap your monthly requests, ease your overdue pile at your own pace, protect a weekly rest day, celebrate DNFs as the self-care they are, and dream a little with a yearly reading ring.

Share a Beautiful Card of Your Monthly Reading or TBR Shelf

Show off your shelf! The Monthly Wrap-Up receipt joins in too: both cards can now be signed with your name, but only if you switch that on, your name stays off by default, and your choice follows you across devices.

Review Pipeline Board

A pipeline board for your reviews, watch them move from draft to posted. Drag a card between stages on desktop (keyboard works too), or tap "Move" on your phone.

Workspaces: One Hat at a Time

If you're an author or a moderator as well as a reader, your menu no longer stacks everything into one long list. Open an Author or Admin page and it follows you there automatically, and it remembers your pick across devices.

My Shelf: Pin Your Favourites

Pin the sections you visit every day, Library, Reviews, TBR, anything, and they appear in a "My Shelf" spot at the very top of your sidebar.

Improved

A Refreshed, Modern App Frame

The sidebar and top bar now float as soft, rounded cards over your theme's background, so a little more of your cozy scenery peeks through around the edges. It's the same familiar navigation, just lighter, calmer, and more polished on desktop and tablet.

Calmer, Easier-to-Scan Navigation

The menu is quieter and easier to read at a glance: items now rest as clean text instead of a row of coloured buttons, and the page you're on is marked with a little bookmark ribbon in your theme's accent, like a ribbon tucked into the current chapter.

A Friendlier Header That Greets You

Your dashboard now opens with a warm hello and today's date, and deeper pages show a little breadcrumb trail so you always know where you are.

A Tidier Sidebar That Folds Away What You Rarely Use

Sidebar sections now have neat little chapter headings, and the ones you don't use every day, like Author Portal, Tester, and Admin, start tucked away so your everyday reading menu stays short and scannable. Whatever page you're on always stays open automatically.

Your Library Stats at a Glance

The cluster of counts at the top of your dashboard is now one tidy little "pulse", Books, ARCs, and reviews-to-do, with a tap-to-open breakdown of everything else. And when something's due soon or overdue, it gets its own bright reminder chip so deadlines are impossible to miss.

A Header That Tucks Itself Away

As you scroll down a page, the top bar quietly slims into a compact ribbon so more of your books stay on screen, then eases back to full size when you scroll to the top. Your deadline reminders and account menu stay put the whole time.

Dashboard Always on Top

Your Dashboard now sits pinned at the very top of the sidebar in My Shelf, always one click away, instead of tucked inside the My Library group.

A Well-Bound Sidebar

A little extra warmth in the chrome: the sidebar now has a subtle gilded “binding” seam down its inner edge and a barely-there paper grain on darker themes, so it feels more like a well-bound book than a plain panel.

A Calmer, Roomier Top Bar

Overdue deadlines no longer take a whole button up top, they now live inside your stats, with a little dot on the “···” letting you know when something needs attention.

Search and Filters That Stay With You While You Scroll

Finding things is now the ⌘K search's job, so the old per-page search boxes are gone and your shelves have more breathing room.

Monthly Wrap-Up, Right Where You Need It

Your Monthly Wrap-Up no longer camps out on the dashboard all month.

A Calmer Home Screen on Your Phone

Your phone dashboard opens with a proper hello, it now greets you by name, in your theme's own lettering.

A Sleeker Compact Sidebar

Collapse the sidebar into a slim icon rail to give your books more room. Each menu section tucks into a single tidy icon that pops open its links when you tap it, so the rail stays short and calm instead of a long stack of tiny pictures.

Fixed

Tidier Compact Calendar

On a busy month, the small dashboard calendar no longer lets a day’s event dots spill outside their squares when the calendar is set to its narrow, tall size, everything stays neatly inside each day.

Consistent Dashboard Cards

The Quote card now wears the same soft frosted surface as every other dashboard card, so your dashboard looks like one cohesive set instead of one card standing out.
