Very well written with exceptional world-building. The story was easy to get into and I felt like I was right there in Spelltide Bay helping to solve the mystery. Sara's character development as she navigated grief, a sudden inheritance, and found family on top of a mystery was incredibly real. The tension between her and Xander whenever they were on the page together was palpable. Grandma Warra is crazy and eccentric, and I love her, but Ollie was my absolute favorite character by far. He's so cute; I'd have him talk in my head anytime.
All in all, an amazing read and I look forward to the next book!
