A murder of crows following me can't be a good sign.
Very, very good read. Jake and Jasmine are such a believable couple, even with that semi-insta-love that comes with being fated. Jasmine's struggle with her past coming back to haunt her was heart-wrenching and I truly felt for her. Experiencing Jake being pulled between duty to his Pack and his love for Jasmine was pure torture. They both came from hard backgrounds, with valid reasons for keeping the secrets they were keeping from each other.
The spicy scenes were chef's kiss 🤌🏻😈
The plot was well written, and one of those typical "fated mate + obstacle" tropes. But you always gotta have something in the way when it comes to love, right? 😉 The whole idea behind Jasmine's heritage, and subsequently her family, was such a unique twist. Marisol is an amazingly sassy big sister, but PLEASE, I need more info on Big Bro Liam 😭
