Guide
Open your Collector’s Cabinet, understand how each reading total is calculated, and share an eight-card reading portrait.

Statistics turns your tracked books into a Collector’s Cabinet: a visual record of what you finished, what you loved, your reading rhythm, and the work still open on your desk. The current views are Overview, ARCs, Betas & Alphas, and Personal. Tap a number, chart row, cover, or record to see exactly what contributed. Tapping an author opens that author’s profile; genres, tropes, providers, publishers, formats, ratings, and statuses open the matching books.
The three period rules
All Time uses your complete history. Year and Month do not use one date for every statistic because that would make the numbers misleading:
- Collection totals use Acquired date. A book belongs to the period when it entered your library.
- Reading records use Finish date. A book acquired last year and finished this year belongs to this year’s reading portrait.
- ARC request success uses Requested date, with Acquired date only as a fallback for an older request with no request date.
Books linked as editions of the same work count once everywhere except Format Distribution, where a paperback and ebook are genuinely two owned formats.
Overview
Reading portrait shows books finished in the period, average rating from positively rated finished books, and pages from finished books with recorded length. God Tier stays visible as 6 in distributions but contributes 5 to the average.
Keeper Shelf is the highest-rated finished books in the period. On the Desk shows Currently Reading, finished books still awaiting Reviewed or Posted status, ARC deadlines due within 30 days, and overdue ARC publication dates. Finished, DNF, Will Not Read, Did Not Receive, and fully waived obligations do not remain overdue.
Cabinet completed is Finished divided by the matching owned-book reading pool. Taste Catalogue counts genre labels on finished books; one book may contribute to several genres. Reading Rhythm groups Finished books by finish month. Collection Ledger separates ARC, Personal, Beta, and Alpha books by Book type.
Cabinet Labels shows unique known authors among finished books, finished books per active finish month, the longest finished books with positive page counts, and the share of rated finished books that earned 5 or God Tier.
Ecosystem Summary links the reading page sample, top author profile, active team memberships, and saved PR tasks. TBR Adventure is a current To Read and Currently Reading snapshot. Reading Intentions is a recap of the intention settings you chose, not a calculated reading result.
ARCs, Beta and Alpha, and Personal books
These three tabs use the same calculations with a different Book type cohort. ARC-only request, provider, and deadline cards are hidden from Beta, Alpha, and Personal views.
Success Rate is Received or Approved requests divided by Requested, Received, Approved, and Did Not Receive requests in the period’s request cohort. Reading Progress is Finished divided by the matching owned pool. On the ARC tab, an owned carry-over ARC finished in the period is included. Review Progress is Reviewed or Posted divided by Finished in that same reading pool.
The All Books / Finished Only switch controls list-style cards: authors, genres, tropes, publishers, series versus standalone. All Books uses owned books by Acquired date. Finished Only uses Finished and DNF records by Finish date.
Format Distribution counts owned editions as Physical, Ebook, or Audiobook. Longest Book Journey ranks the three largest positive Page counts among Finished books. Month at a Glance combines the month’s finished books, pages, ratings, and valid reading-time sample. Reading Streak counts distinct months containing a Finished book; Books This Month uses finish dates.
Top Tropes and Top Genres count every matching label, so a multi-genre book appears in more than one row. Series versus Standalone depends on whether Series is filled. Reading Breakdown uses Reading status: Finished, Currently Reading, To Read, or DNF.
Reading Volume sums the full Page count of Finished books in the period. Average length ignores missing or zero page counts. Pages per active month divides those pages by distinct finish months. Pages per day requires at least three Finished books with Page count, Start date, and Finish date.
Rating Distribution and Spice Distribution use Finished books. Half ratings use the lower whole-number row. The averages ignore missing and zero ratings rather than treating them as zero.
Fun Reading Stats uses these samples:
- Average Spice: positive spice ratings on Finished books.
- Fastest Read and Average Days: at least three Finished books with valid Start and Finish dates.
- Peak Reading Season and Favourite Day: Finish dates.
- Five-Star Rate: 5 and God Tier divided by all positive ratings.
- Books per Month: Finished books divided by distinct finish months.
- DNF Rate: DNF divided by Finished plus DNF records in the finish-date period.
- Audiobook Time: full known audio runtime for Finished books, or listened minutes when runtime is missing.
Top Authors excludes blank and Unknown Author values and opens the author profile. Top Providers counts Received ARCs by Acquired date and Provider. Personal, Beta, and Alpha views show Top Publishers instead. Monthly Reading Trends counts only Finished books by Finish date; it no longer substitutes review or creation dates. Wishlist counts ARC Wishlist application status plus Personal wishlist or wanted ownership status.
If a number looks incomplete
Check the record opened from the statistic, then verify the fields that define its cohort:
- Missing from a year or month: Acquired date, Finish date, or Requested date.
- Missing from Finished, pace, pages, or rhythm: Reading status, Finish date, Page count, and Start date for speed.
- Missing from ratings or review progress: Rating or Review status.
- Missing from taste lists: Author, Genre, Trope, Publisher, Provider, or Series name.
- Missing from ARC obligations: Book type, Application status, Publication date, Review status, and Promotion status.
Sharing
Choose Share Cabinet, then choose All Time, Year, or Month before exporting. Every card recalculates for that period using the date rules above. Switch between Story (9:16) and Post (4:5), preview all eight cards, then share or download the set. No AI-generated artwork is used; the cards are assembled from your live stats, book covers, typography, and active theme.
Choose Monthly Wrap-Up separately to share a Reading Receipt followed by one or more The Stack pages. The receipt itemizes finished books and totals; the stack pages pair covers with titles, ratings, and reading details. Both formats use high-contrast parchment ink so compact captions remain readable after export.
Share Cabinet and Monthly Wrap-Up keep keyboard focus inside their previews. Press Escape to close the active preview and return to the action you used.
