Know which author tools a connection can use and what happens when a permission is not granted.

A PA connection is permission-based. Connecting an account does not automatically grant every Author tool.

Permissions can cover areas such as the author profile and books, request forms, teams, or campaign analytics. The exact destinations available to a PA follow the permissions the author approved.

When a permission is missing, ARC Library blocks the protected workspace rather than showing or saving information outside that scope. Ask the author to review the connection if your responsibilities change.

Permissions control access; the active author switcher controls context. Check both before beginning campaign work.
