The Fortune Parlour is ARC Library’s bookish tarot room. When it is available on your account, open it from the Reader navigation to find the Album, Draw, Séance, and Curiosity Shop.

Awaken the Reader’s Arcana

The Album holds 22 Major Arcana cards. Each card responds to a real reading deed, such as beginning a long-waiting ARC, publishing a review, or finishing a book outside your usual genres. Some deeds are detected from your Library activity; a small number ask for your word because ARC Library cannot observe them honestly.

An unawakened card keeps its identity hidden. You can see its numeral and riddle, but not its name, deed, progress, rarity, or individual artwork. Select it to read the riddle and decide what it might be asking of you.

When a card awakens, it turns over in a short ceremony and joins the face-up cards on your table. The Threshold Key, the first card, awakens when you enter the Parlour and reveals its hand-drawn golden book-key artwork. Select any awakened card to read its story, deed, arrival date, and the book connected to it when one was recorded.

The Draw chooses a book or reading prompt for you. The Séance lays out Past, Present, and Future cards for a weekly reading moment. Completed Parlour activities can award Moonstones, which belong to the Parlour’s cosmetic collection rather than changing how reading achievements are earned.

Some rooms and rewards may arrive gradually or depend on the version available to your account. Your awakened cards and saved Parlour progress stay attached to your profile across supported devices.
