Danika had enough on her plate, between her teaching job and taking care of her ailing dad. And when a new Chosen One shows up, calling for their heads, they might actually have to work together to (checks notes) destroy the man controlling them both. Or worse yet, admit that all the time they’re spending together might conjure into the most terrifying thing the world has ever seen - love.
