After a house fire leaves single mother Demi Davis homeless, she finds herself in cheap real estate hell. Kitchen appliances in your a bathroom simply won’t do; it’s no way to live. Appearance matters. It’s your opening line, and Demi needs to hide how far she’s fallen since her divorce.
Physiotherapist Ben Hendriks can’t properly help his clients under the watchful eye of his money-hungry boss. Determined to open a client-focused clinic, he plans to fund it with a community fun run. But raising the money means relying on others, something Ben will do anything to avoid, leaving him with no choice but to form a committee.
When a back injury reunites Demi with Ben, they strike a deal: she’ll give his fundraiser the online presence it desperately needs, and he will find her and her daughters somewhere affordable to live.
But where Demi wants sparkle, Ben wants results. Working together might launch the clinic, but could it also force them to see past their differences?
