What a quick, fun, and sexy holiday read! Holly and Grayson are delightfully awkward and flirty, and I am SO here for their rom-com vibes.

I love that Holly is a mess. She's coming off a divorce from a lying douchebag, which has left her leery of men, but that doesn't stop her from drooling over tattoo artist and total sweetheart Grayson. I love that she has virtually ZERO game around Gray and completely loses her chill in his presence. The result is hilarious, as she alternates between being tongue-tied and spewing random word vomit. But then she has this bedroom assertiveness that I absolutely love. All that to say, Holly feels like a real person rather than a stereotype.

And Grayson? GIVE ME THE TATTOOED, PIERCED HOTNESS. His exterior screams bad boy, but he's such a vulnerable (and spicy) marshmallow for Holly. His childhood crush on her, which has carried well into adulthood, is ADORABLE. I love that he makes his feelings clear without ever pushing past her comfort levels. Instead, he respects her boundaries and is willing to wait until she's ready for a relationship. THAT'S A MAN.

Once they're together, the chemistry is SCORCHING HOT. If you've read E.L. Koslo before, you know the spice will be SPICING, and it will be delicious. But just as importantly (well, almost), there's plenty of emotional connection to go with it. Holly and Gray are no exception. The way they open up to each other is SO swoony.

I also appreciated how the third-act drama was handled. It felt realistic and authentic to both characters, and I especially liked that it was addressed immediately rather than dragged out unnecessarily.

As a bit of a Grinch, I found the story had the perfect amount of holiday cheer. We got a Santa suit, a snowstorm, and multiple mentions of mistletoe. Honestly, what more could you need?
