This starts off with a stereotypical Christmas set up - we've got a Christmas tree farm and a former one night stand. It starts off a bit slow - took me until about 30-35% in to get engaged in the story. Christmas happens ~50% of the way through the book, and it's really the second part of the book I enjoyed more. During the first part of the book, it felt like things were very reliant on standard Christmasy fare, without a lot unique to this story. In the second half of the book is where we really start to see the relationship grow. Nick and Maisie are very cute together. I was also really happy we did end up resolving some of the loose ends.
