I don't read too many YA but it's Lynn Painter so of course this one made the cut. Her writing is so good, it gives me all the feels I'm supposed to get. And this one was no different. This is your rags to riches mfc meets rich big city mmc. It's so surprising because you think Damion is all bad since he has that reputation but he shows his true self to Julia and only her. The banter was so cute between these two, the teasing and flirting kept the will they won't they going until nearly the very end. I was literally screaming, "JUST KISS HER!" so many times and when it finally happened I really enjoyed this book!
