For a YA book, this is a spectacular story set during WWII. Jakub is sent on a trip by his parents and told to not look back. During this journey he is so courageous and resilient despite all the possible ways he could have been captured by the Gestapo. Really quick read, but very detailed and intense. Great historical fiction for a YA wanting to read more about the time.
