Wrestling with Wrath is the sixth book in the Passing Through Cafe series. This book introduces us to Abi and Doc. Abi is an Ophys with a condition similar to narcolepsy, but when he faints, it looks as if he is dead. These episodes happen because of his anxiety. One day, he experiences an episode and is taken to the morgue. Here is where he comes across Doc, the medical examiner. When he wakes up, he startles Doc. As the story unfolds, their friendship blossoms and eventually becomes a beautiful relationship.

This was the first book I read in the Passing Through Cafe series. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this book turned out to be so good. There were laughs, heartfelt moments, and plenty of spice. This book surprised me by bringing me to tears because of its many emotional moments. (The ribbon moment in the hospital is one example.) Abi's character was deeply complex. He experienced a life full of hardship and heartbreak. Doc was compassionate and never made Abi feel as though he was too much to deal with. The way he loved Abi was truly swoon-worthy.. This was such a great read. I fell completely in love with these characters. Honestly, this book exceeded my expectations. I would happily recommend this to other people.
