When I opened the first page that recommended reading Dead 2 Me first to set the vibe, I decided to take the advice, and I am so glad I did. I don't think I would have had the same emotional attachment I did if I hadn't picked up the spicy novella first. Do with that what you will.
This is absolutely the spiciest Omegaverse I've read to date, and it was just wow. The plot was not sacrificed for spice because the spice and plot went hand in hand, and I love that. I devoured both books (review for Dead 2 Me on the corresponding page). Over My Dead Body provided me with emotions, drama, and HEAT! I honestly wasn't sure how I was going to feel about double omegas at first because that was new to me. I was like, " Why is she all up in his territory?" But as relationships developed, I adjusted, and it was so sweet, to be honest.
I loved how each character had to go through their own growth to make the unconventional dynamic work for everyone. This is hands down a 5-star read, so thank you to Bex Deveau, L.E. Eldridge, and The Smuthood for giving me the great ARC opportunity. I had the best time and lost sleep, so you know it was amazing. If you love omegaverse, masked men, accidental bond drama, and more, definitely pick this one up.
