Kira is being forced to marry Paolo but when Paolo stops the wedding his Dad Dominico steps in. Kira is only getting married to save her mom. This book was very emotional for me. It took time reading it. Please check your triggers. Small everyday triggers can take you from enjoying the book to be completely blind side. I went into the book thinking one way to have it be changed. I took the time to process everything, and was able to jump back in and finish this amazing book.
