Invisible by Sonja J. Kaye had me reeled in from the first chapter. I really enjoyed the writing style and how the story felt original without falling into the usual clichés. Ultimately, the characters and settings felt real, which made it easy to be pulled in.
Both the characters and setting felt realistic with added fantasy elements that- I feel- enhanced the story. The mystery unfolded at a good pace and kept me wanting to find out what was really going on.
Both Olivia and Jo were a mystery in themselves. The relationship between the two of them was a little fast for my liking, but overall fit the story and the way it went. I enjoyed watching them grow as both partners and separate people.
Now let me tell you about the ending. WOW!! I thought that it was amazing but definitely leaves things open for another book with that cliffhanger. Now I need to know what happens next.
Overall, Invisible was a very intriguing and original story with a great mystery, realistic characters, and an ending that leaves you wanting more.
