The MVP of this book is Simon as my favourite enabler! I have been a Marcus fan since day one and this slow burn has been four books in the making. Juniper and Marcus definitely had some trust issues to work through but it is so worth it. I was ready to lamp Luca at the cottage though for interrupting - I was as frustrated as Juniper at that point! Romantic Marcus is my favourite Marcus; just swoon.
Outwith the pack relationships, the plot surrounding the Soldiers of Saint Aldous and their grip on Fairhaven Academy and the outside world keeps the action going. Redwood is just awful and is truly unhinged. There are some darker scenes towards the end which had me on the edge of my seat as did the last minute reveal at the end. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
