Book: Pandora's Serpent by Augustine Kent

There aren't enough words for the love Varku has for Janessa, except maybe the awe-inspiring need for him to just witness her in her own self, her true self.
This book is for those who were in a spot where something was missing but couldn't place it. Where the darkness is not always the worst spot, being ignored, misunderstood, put in a box, and told to only show the easy parts.
There's some twists, some turns (some I guessed, hurray me), and a whole lot of spice.
An easy 4 stars for me, the inner turmoil with the outer sass is just chef's kiss .
Honestly, at the beginning I literally looked at my hubby and said, I don't think Varku is gonna fly with me..... then he did. "—but there was one fundamental difference. He kept asking for my voice."That line, right there got me in the feels so hard, I had no choice but to agree with him.
I laughed, I sobbed, I reread just to get my feelings out.
The brilliant, the hilarious, the soul wrencher: Augustine Kent everyone!
