Jumping straight back in where Broken or Buried left us, Devoted Demise wastes absolutely no time pulling you straight back into the drama.
I absolutely flew through this book, and whenever I wasn't reading, I was practically feral to get back to it.
The sheer range of emotions you experience throughout this read creates the perfect recipe for a truly wild ride. There's frustration, longing, hurt, fear, awakening, conflict and retribution — and somehow, Andrea balances it all brilliantly.
It sounds like a lot — and it is — but it's written in such a masterful and addictive way that you're constantly flying through the pages without the story ever feeling overwhelming. Instead, every new revelation, emotional blow and shift in the characters' relationships just makes it harder to put down.
And the yearning?! The tension?! I was being FED.
If you enjoy love triangles (done absolutely right), secret societies, yearning, morally grey and possessive men, complicated relationships and delicious spice, you're going to have a VERY good time with Devoted Demise.
Addictive, emotional, messy in all the best ways and ridiculously difficult to put down. I cannot recommend picking this one up ASAP highly enough.
