What We Burn For by S. Ramies was my first experience with a dark adult romance, so I wasn’t completely sure what to expect going into it. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the story.
One of the strongest parts of the book was the plot. There are some great twists throughout that kept me interested and made me want to keep reading to see how everything would play out. I especially appreciated the ending—it does a great job of tying up the loose ends and bringing the different pieces of the story together in a satisfying way.
While dark romance isn’t a genre I’ve read before, this was a good introduction to it and an enjoyable read overall. I’d definitely recommend it to readers who enjoy darker adult romance with plenty of twists and a story that comes together nicely in the end.
