Well, I just gobbled Edge of Steel up in 7 hours...but for real, it's Elizabeth Dear - so are we really that surprised that she sucked me right on in??? Nope. Not one bit.

Let me tell you, Avery's sass and tenacity did not disappoint. Doormat? None to be found here. I just absolutely adore her, and her inner monologue is super entertaining to me.
I won't go into too many details with this review like I sometimes do because there's too much, and I fear it's too easy to let something slip that should be experienced firsthand. But to sum it up, we got Groveling, Longing, Angst, and sooo many feelings. Definitely recommend continuing Avery's journey to becoming a Guardian. It's worth it. This book is super plot-heavy with some sprinkles of heat, and it's now made it to my God Tier Category because I forgot to exist outside the shifter world for a whole 7 hours, and that's a hard task to accomplish.

I am honored to have been a part of the reading team, so thank you first to Elizabeth for writing this beast of a book and to Grey's Promos for sending this baby to my inbox. You all are the best!

The cliffhanger isn't brutal, so don't stress, but there's enough to leave us wanting more, which I love.
