I first read B.K. Borison through Lovelight Farms , and I’ll be honest, after that book I wasn’t exactly rushing to read more from her. 😂 My friends were raving about First Time Caller , though, and that slowly started warming me up to the idea. Then I saw that Grim Tidings was a paranormal romance about a Reaper and a Guardian, and I took that as a sign. 😂
And I’m so glad I did because this book was SO CUTE .
The banter was amazing, and I absolutely loved Darcy. Her feelings about being taken too early made it so easy to root for her, while Gabriel’s protective nature was just as charming. These two will reel you in, and before you know it, you’re desperately rooting for both of them to get their happy ending.
And then there’s Tater Tot . 🥹 I mean, who wouldn’t want a zombie dog?! Okay, technically he isn’t a zombie dog, but he is ridiculously cute and I would like to formally request one immediately.
This book definitely made me want to check out more of B.K. Borison’s newer releases, and I’m officially excited to continue with the rest of this series. Apparently, the Reaper/Guardian thing was exactly the sign I needed.
