Wow! What a pageturner! This was a police procedural done well - build up before the major crime happened, emotion, detectives who put their everything into solving the case - making it a story that you don’t want to put down until it’s over. And I loved the relationship between Kathy and Denise as well as them with Ali - the inside jokes, the banter, but also the love. Oh, and the story behind The Sunflower Field. It’ll bring tears to your eyes! The Sunflower Field, the book, is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me.
