"You and I are meant to drown in blood or stand triumphant in the ashes of this world, Nadi."
What a finale to this series!
The Serpent's Throne was dark, fast, thrilling, tense, and spicy. It didn't let up. When the action slowed, it was only to be replaced by more of the lore and the history of Nadi and the Wilds.
The bond between Nadi and Raziel develops on every level. Their love. Protective feelings. Physical connection. Their understanding of one anothers vision for the future, and what brought them to this point. It was an absolute thrill to read.
For a book of under 300 pages, there is a lot packed into it, but not so much that it feels chaotic.
The Bloodlines series has been a fantastic journey from start to finish and I would like to thank Kathryn Ann Kingsley, Second Sky, and Netgalley for giving me to opportunity to read each book early.
