What a cliffhanger

Book: Untamed Chains by Sadie Owens

I loved seeing Evelyn recovering some agency after the events of book one; her mental health journey is far from over but she is coming on in leaps and bounds. This isn't a case of the bond making everything instantly better either - Evelyn is very much in the driving seat and everything is at her pace as she works through her trauma. Jaxon is my absolute favourite, hands down; his one liners had me cracking up. They were mostly at Ward's expense but I enjoyed how it showed their relationship outwith Evelyn. Everytime the evil lunchbox was mentioned it made me cackle too. I liked how the plot moved on as book one had a lot of set up and some of the questions we had were answered. Then we had had that epilogue - talk about a cliffhanger! I need to know how that is resolved!
