Book: A Time of Witches: A Gothic Historical Mystery of Family Secrets and Witchcraft by Madeline Martin

This was a very good book. The parallels of how women were treated in the 1600s compared to now… Are scary to think about. I guess I never really thought about just how similar that treatment is today. Different words for it. Different treatments. Different attitudes. But oh so similar.
The amount of research that also went into this book is staggering. I would love to take a trip to Bury St Edmunds and The Nutshell. As well as the other places in England where this book took place. I’d also love to go to Savannah Georgia and visit the bookstore.
10/10 recommend.
