It’s about a girl that needs to prove herself in her job after an incident she was involved in. Because of this, she takes an assignment at work that takes her out into nowhere to take some measurements of some property. When she gets there, all goes south!
This book really kept me guessing the entire time! I went into it blind and I would recommend everyone do that because I was not expecting what would happen until BAM it happened! There narrator did a fabulous job bringing the characters and story to life! The paranormal aspect really took me by supersize! Being a dog person, I absolutely loved the relationship she had with her dog!
It’s a folk horror book that is well written and descriptive! I felt as though I was on the ride with the FMC, Lou. I definitely will look for other books by this author.
