This book had me in an absolute chokehold from beginning to end. One minute I was sitting there thinking "OMG this man is completely unhinged," and the next I was kicking my feet because somehow it felt romantic in the darkest, most morally grey way possible.
The tension, obsession, and possessiveness were dialed all the way up, but what really made this story stand out was the deeper storyline woven behind the romance. Seeing the MMC risk everything to save trafficked children added so many layers to his character. Yes, he was dangerous, obsessive, and morally questionable... but underneath all of that was someone fiercely protective and willing to become a monster for the right reasons.
That contrast made him impossible not to love. The author did an incredible job balancing the dark themes with emotional depth, and I was completely glued to the pages the entire time. If you love stalker romances that push boundaries while still giving you a compelling plot and a complex MMC you can't stop rooting for, this one absolutely delivers.
