Collins and Harley, I've had my eye on you two and you did not disappoint.
Collins McKee, the sweetest golden retriever of a hockey player to ever exist, has been a friend and confidant to Harley Wheeler since they met through their friends. Harley has just come through a HORRIFIC breakup (seriously, check your trigger warnings) and he has been her rock.
When all their friends decide to spend Christmas together, they are both getting a bit of a side eye about being single and so Harley says "Oh... we're kind of together!" The fake dating trope has entered the chat. Merry Christmas to me!
This is the least fake dating I've ever seen in a fake dating trope book because these two were so far gone for each other from the get-go, they just needed to admit it.
This is so sweet, so cute, and I was just wiggling in my seat cheering for them both the whole dang time.
Katelyn Snyder is so fantastic at writing characters that are complex, realistic, and I want to be friends with. Collins is top tier, sweet, loving boyfriend, and a fantastic friend.
Harley is a fantastic friend, and one of the kindest people on the planet.
I am so glad they got out of their own ways and found their HAE.
I make a mental note that when I make her mine, truly mine— we’ll be up here whenever she wants.
