I am so satisfied with how Rina wrapped up Aiden and Elsa’s story, considering how much I raged at the ending of the first two books!! It was worth it to get to this ending. You finally get ALL the details on Elsa’s mother, it’s no wonder the poor thing repressed all of her memories, I’d do the same! It also completely explains Aiden’s attitude towards her and his major obsession, the guy has been pining for her for nearly a decade and when she reappeasrs she doesn’t remember him, I’d be pretty annoyed to! That being said, Aiden took his annoyance to a WHOLE other level, and Elsa met him blow for blow in this book, which was such an amazing growth for her character and I loved that!! The focus was definitely more on Elsa recovering her memories and understanding why Aiden was the way he was rather than the dark romance aspect, but spice is still there so don’t panic!
Out of the three books of Elsa and Aiden’s romance, this was definitely my favourite 🖤
