In an effort to prove herself and hold on to some special memories Renley takes on the task of buying and restoring the local town candy shop. This should be easy right? Until Renley realizes her big mistake... Enter Theo, a privileged out of touch future Lord, riding the wave of a drunken game of Truth or Dare. A little mix-up results in them being neighbors for the summer and things start to get a little complicated as they both try to figure out what the future holds, and whether that's what they want.

Final Thoughts
I absolutely adore everything that I have read by Meghan Quinn. I love her rom com style writing that leans a bit cringe and ridiculous but that is also so sweet and fun. I would recommend Rules for the Summer for those who already like Meghan Quinn's writing style and books or those who enjoy rom coms that might edge towards ridiculous.
