🤯 ... One book i couldn't put down! The immersion between the Spotify music and the book was something new that just tickled my brains imagination. Ahhh and Oneiro City, where the rain is acidic, the neon is blinding, and the emotional baggage is heavier than the corporate surveillance state. GlitchBorn Heart is essentially what happens if The Matrix had a baby with a spicy romance novel, and that baby was raised on a steady diet of synthwave and angst. If you want to enter dreamscape and be part of the chaos then press enter and get ready .

Here is a breakdown of the chaos:
The "Dark Data Daddy" Himself (Kael): Kael Ryudon is the quintessential "I can fix her" (or maybe "I can fix myself") trope turned up to eleven. He’s a brooding, hyper-competent architect who spends his days building digital cages and his nights having existential crises in the shower. He’s the "Anomaly Hunter" who is secretly just a man who needs a hug and a therapist, but instead, he chooses to build a "window" into his own system. His internal monologue is basically: I am a cold, calculating machine, but also, I would burn the entire city to the ground if someone looked at Lyra the wrong way. It’s a bold strategy, Kael, let’s see if it pays off.
The "Glitch" (Lyra): Lyra is the ultimate "I hate you, don't touch me, wait, actually touch me" heroine. She’s an EchoWeaver who is surprisingly good at breaking things, which is a great skill to have when your boyfriend is the guy who built the prison you’re trapped in.Her relationship with Kael is the definition of "toxic but make it digital." One minute she’s threatening to burn his lab to the ground, and the next, she’s letting him tie her up with velvet rope. It’s a rollercoaster, and she’s definitely the one screaming the loudest.
The Chaos Agent (Ash): Ash is the only person in this entire dystopian hellscape who seems to be having a good time. He’s the chaotic rockstar best friend who provides the soundtrack, the comic relief, and the occasional "just fuck already" nudge that the plot desperately needs. He’s the glue holding this mess together, mostly because he’s the only one who isn't taking himself quite as seriously as Kael.
The Vibe: The story is a masterclass in "high-tech, low-life" drama.Every interaction is charged with enough tension to power the city grid. There is a lot of "I am a monster" and "No, I am the monster" back-and-forth, which is honestly very on-brand for the genre. The fact that they are literally arguing about the ethics of corporate surveillance while simultaneously engaging in some very intense, very public digital flirting is peak dystopian romance.
The Verdict: It’s a world where "I love you" is expressed through hacking, and "I trust you" is expressed through cutting ropes with a katana. If you like your romance with a side of existential dread, corporate espionage, and a protagonist who is literally a "ghost in the machine," this is definitely the book for you.Just maybe don't drink the "FizzyWater" if you visit.
