Traitors by Willa Hollis told the story of Seraphine Austen. She spent her entire life in hiding underground, trying to escape a harsh government that was against people with special abilities. Her whole life she was taught to be scared of her powers. We're introduced to Tark Lowell, whose parents are in charge of the oppressive regime. Learning to trust each other was necessary for them to fight his family.
Traitors really surprised me. The story really kept me hooked. Seraphine, was so fierce and I loved how loyal Tark was. I didn't love some of the decisions made by the characters, but the story was good. That ending makes me really hope for a sequel.
