This golden retriever of a football player is such a ray of sunshine he won my heart over so quickly it was like whiplash.
Finley is such a strong, independent female character and I love everything about her. If I had the day she had? I would have been in a fetal position (lol) in the corner. Seriously. She's a trooper.
These two cross paths while she's working at a bar frequented by high profile athletes and there's some unrequited feelings on his side and after the worst possible day ever ... he is able to offer something she truly needs and HELLO FORCED PROXIMITY TROPE. When he swoops in to save the day? Swoon. SWOON.
This book is so sexy, fun, and sweet. I read a lot of DARK romance and to read such a sweet, kind, understanding, SUNNY MC is such a lovely change of pace for me. Everything about Theo is just ... ugh, stop being so perfect you sexy, backward hat wearing, six pack ab having, sex god. Save some for the rest of the MCs, okay?
And, in C.L. Rose style the book is snappy, well written, with delicious banter and spicy scenes that are panty melting.
Trust me, Mama. I’d love nothing more than to feed your cravings.
