WHAT. WAS. THAT?? A Palace of Cosmic Flame was such a rollercoaster! So many ups and downs. I was laughing one minute, crying the next... and completely heartbroken by the end. How can I recover from that? Liv, no pressure, but you better keep writing the third book fast.. I NEED to know!
There were so many things going on, all at the same time: so many enemies, new faces, and so many feelings.
There were times when I really thought, “Why is Maeve doing 'this' or thinking 'like that'?”, but I get why she felt that way, why she was struggling, and why she kept making bad choices. And so was Sebastian, with his secrets and half-truths. They were a mess together, always picking the worst time to talk or having miscommunications (or doing other things too 👀).
There were so many funny dialogues too! Maeve, Seb, Pia, Kohen, Sawyer, and add Kade to that mix... you'll have a blast! I loved them!
PS: "Daddy's Dirty Dungeon Doll"??? I'm still cackling 😂 That was one of the funniest scenes I've ever read!! (IFKYK)..
