Red Lights picks up exactly where Escape ended. We are thrust back into the world of Darkness in Devotion. Everyone is pretty beat up, some hospitalized. Their world literally blew up around them. But what now?
This book dives deeper into what it means to have hope, what that looks like, what a found family really is, and most of all: What happens if that life is threatened?
Everyone thought Conor was bad. He wasn't anywhere near the caliber of his sister. Ciara is here to "play" and she has the patience of a master chess player. As our core group tries to recover and plan a future, she is watching every step, even making sure things go their way. She sets up the perfect vengeance for the loss of her brother.
And the rest of the city isn't spared while Kael and crew recuperate. They get to deal with the dark side of Ciara immediately. Power vacuum? Pish posh. She's there before they know what hit them. Being owned by someone has never been scary for the bad guys before....
Book 3 had best not be too far away!
