This book is about Orion and Sable. Orion is married to a woman named Whitney. Whitney's ready for a baby, but he's not. Orion was feeling stuck and made some questionable decisions. Sable works as a stripper. Since he's had a rough go of it, he's focused on never needing to rely on anyone else. The two meet at the club and start a relationship. Orion's actions and their results are all laid out in this book.
I was first worried because it is a cheating trope. I feel like Orion became a better person. He learned from his mistakes. This book blew me away. I really felt for the characters. So much emotion was felt. Joelle's not romanticizing the cheating story. I think she did a good job showing what happens when you cheat. I think Orion and Sable were meant to be. Give this book a shot, I think you'll like it!
