How is it already over? No more Selena and Dorian? No more Jasper?! I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Misfits and Rebels just yet…

Legacy of a Queen delivers a powerful and satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, expertly weaving together the threads from the previous books into a finale packed with emotion, revelations, and high-stakes tension.

This final instalment has it all—shifting loyalties, tested bonds, loss, the return of familiar faces, and long-buried secrets finally brought to light. The deeper dive into heritage and character arcs added an extra layer of richness that longtime readers will truly appreciate.

For the most part, I was completely hooked—this was a “do not disturb” read with me flying through the pages. The writing is engaging and easy to fall into, with plenty of emotional depth and some fantastic banter throughout (Jasper continues to steal every scene he’s in!).

There is a slight dip in pacing around the midway point where the story loses a little momentum, but it quickly regains its footing and drives toward a rewarding and well-earned ending.

Overall, this is a brilliant series that I would wholeheartedly recommend to fans of supernatural and shifter romance, fated mates, and immersive world-building. It’s also a fantastic entry point for anyone looking to explore the genre.

I’m genuinely sad to see this journey come to an end, but I’m equally excited to see what Kat Miranda does next—her storytelling brings such vibrancy and heart to every page.

My thanks to Kat Miranda, and Beth at Wings and Words for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
