This book had me laughing, swooning, and then staring into the void questioning my life choices.

Rockstar romance usually isn't really my thing, but I honestly loved this!

The single dad x nanny trope is always so fucking adorable, and the relationship between Emerson and Mateo had me grinning like an idiot more than once. The banter was golden, the humor was witty as hell, and I genuinely had such a good time reading this.

But holy shit, this book also ripped me apart. Beneath all the humor, romance, and adorable moments was a story about grief and depression that hit a little too close to home for comfort. The representation was handled so beautifully and with so much emotional depth. The overarching theme of grief throughout the entire book, as well as the characters different ways to cope and react was... heartbreaking, honestly. But it was written verrryyy well!
