What a fantastically unhinged ride that makes me very grateful for my “boring” family. Those Scrooges are a mess, and I can’t even say that Bea is the biggest mess although she is definitely the most messy in public. I liked that the story kept switching between past and present as it gave us insight into the family dynamics and why certain choices were made. I found the story to be crazy, wild, and entertaining, and that ending will likely make you say, “Oh, dang!” like it did for me!
