Book: Then Until Forever by Mase Evans

When Avery and Jax meet again after four years things are different. Avery is no longer the same girl she was when they broke up in high school and Jax now knows he made a mistake when he let her go. When they cross paths in the small town they grew up in, it’s clear that they still love each other. Thing is, will they let themselves acknowledge it or will they admit their feelings?
What I enjoy is the way that their circle of friends support them even if I don’t necessarily agree with the methods. At the same time, it’s the circle of friends that helps to put the story in perspective. The characters are in their early twenties and their way of thinking and processing reflects that. There is a lot of slow-burn and that fits with the second chance romance especially when Avery and Jax are back where everything started except they’re older and more cautious.
Thank you to Mase Evans for the gifted ARC. All opinions are my own.
