This one was hard for me. The premise was appealing. Princess with no magic in a magic filled world, mentally and physically abused by her tyrant father/king. Only to realize she had a bigger destiny. But somonwhere I just couldnt connect with the characters though, not exactly sure why or where the disconnect was. I just wasn't as invested in the story. Check your triggers though as well there is self harm, anxiety representation.
