A Truth of Dark Umbras is book two in The Chronicles of Imiryion series. It is a dark fantasy which has battles, addictive banter, delicious spice, and will have you binge-reading to the wee hours. I certainly did!
This book is like a whippet out of the gates, but make that a whippet maxed up on energy drinks! The action is breathtaking, the banter is top-tier, the tension will have you tied in knots and your head ready to explode.
Honestly, I read this book waaaay too quickly and was not ready for it to end.
