After the events of Immortal Origins and the added depth of Immortal Flames, we pick up in Immortal Secrets with Ambrose and Akadian after the First Trial and on the run.
Where can they go? What can they do? Where can they hide from a god?
And so, our merry band of outcasts seek a place to hide and a plan for the next trial.
It's a wild ride. The twists, the turns, the new friends and allies, everything about this is so much fun. The depth and breadth of the lore that we get in this installment of The Chronicles of the Immortal Trials is INSANE in the best of ways.
I absolutely LOVE the relationship between Akadian and Ambrose and how it grows and changes in this book. I love them and how their relationship grows in relation to their own personal arcs. It's such a good dynamic.
The added cast of characters in this book is also just fantastic. I am so absolutely stoked for the rest of this series. It's building to something I cannot wait to see explode.
