It was okay but I had a few issues with it

First off, the book starts with a promising start of a murder case that first off sounds really good and leaves the reader guessing what happened and why it happened. But then it all changes and the main story is about the guy who wrote the nightmare man and that whatever his book is about is actually coming true.
His famous story about a serial killer named the nightmare man somehow ends up becoming true because someone knows what happens in the bookeven though the book wasn’t published back then so someone had acted to the book before it was published and performed the type of murders that happened in the book. It still sounds promising up until that point, but then the story is pretty slowly progressing and it’s making it hard to actually follow along because it takes forever before something happens that is related to the main plot in the beginning.
