Book: The Mechanics of Broomstick Racing by Vermilion H. Baine

Adorable and binge worthy. Vermilion does it again.
I laughed out loud so many times at this novella. It is fast, quirky, and everything I wanted in a novella that is part of a larger set. I adore the character development that Vermilion brings to all the characters, whether they are large or small. I love the idea of their being little witchy towns all over the world that are protected from humans and now I need to find one for myself and my family.
Neil and Zephyr's banter is so good. Her complete obliviousness to him being in love with her for over a decade was so swoon worthy and I just need more of them. There is also so much emotion as Zephyr deals with her own insecurities and healing from her crash as well as reconciling who she was and who she is now. We've all hit that point in our life, and if you haven't congratulations on being the one person that doesn't need therapy, and it was so well structured and written.
If you want something fast, lovey, witchy, and with a brash and sassy FMC and a down bad MMC, then this book is for you.
