The Lockdown Mann is the second book in the Necessary Roughness series. Desmond and Oakley are the focus of this book. They met each other at the beach when they were 16, both on vacation with their families. They spend an excellent two weeks in each other's company. One night, they end up kissing and expressing their feelings for each other. The following day, Oakley receives a call from his ex-girlfriend telling him she is pregnant. They choose to make it work and reunite. Oakley informs Desmond, and they choose to walk away from one another. After 11 years, both of them have become professional football players, share the same best friend, and now live in the same town. The story shows how they come back together and end up falling in love.

This book was great. I loved it. Des and Oakley had an incredible chemistry. I really enjoyed how they interacted with one another. This was such a great second-chance story. How Des and Oakley reconnected was so touching. They were destined to be together. I really enjoyed reading their story.
