Thank you so much Hambright PR and Lucy Score for the gifted eARC and ALC.
I absolutely love Lucy Score and her Riley Thorns series so I was so excited to jump into this one!! This picks up pretty much where we left off in The Body in the Backyard.
I did this as an immersive read. This book is done in single narration by Natalie Duke. have to say that Natalie Duke does such an amazing job doing all the different character voices including the male voices! I was impressed with her range!!
You just know jumping into one of the Riley Thorns series books you are going to be busting out laughing and this one definitely lived up to that. The mall cop jokes might have been my favorite. I love Ms Penny and all her antics! I also love how we got the role reversal of Nick being the happiest Christmas lover instead of Riley!! The only reason this wasn’t a full 5 stars is I wanted more from Riley and her psychic abilities. I did throughly enjoy the ending of this book I think it was perfect!! I also might have shed a tear or two towards the end. You absolutely need to add this series to your TBR!! It’s such a fun and unique series!!
In this your going to get:
